First there was the epic freakout, back in December, and Belphe's subsequent emergency trip to find out if this world had psychiatrists.
Long story short: YUP.
Slightly longer version: Belphe managed to get him to a session with a psychiatrist, and what followed was fifty minutes of ranting, screaming, maths, and weeping. Then it was Sho's turn, and by the end of his fifty the shrink was left just...blinking. Sho ended up pacing the waiting room while Belphe was brought into the office again.
So Sho started the oh-so-fun game that is called 'finding the right medication'. He didn't manage to get much of anything done while side effects and medications at varied levels of effectiveness bounced around attempting to get his damn chemistry settled out. ((Look, it's as good an excuse as any for why I wasn't around...))
Now how about Taboo, Belphe's beloved spoiled brat of a shiny runty Eevee? When last we saw him, he'd been launched in an attempt to find a flying Eeveelution and had ended up in Kanto. His personal internal monologue for the last month sounded rather like this: "I AM IMPORTANT. I AM PRECIOUS. MOMMY IS CRYING HER EYES OUT LOOKING FOR ME AS WE SPEAK ;___;" while he huddled under leaves and ran like hell from anything that looked like it might even possibly lead to a fight.
Sho really did intend to go looking for Taboo, unfortunately there was some time where he wasn't exactly up for travelling. Yes, even compared to his usual inability to handle "outdoors". The two teams were doing their best, unfortunately they were a bit limited by not being able to go out and look themselves...so while hoping for Sho to get his act back together they were distracting Belphe.
Now lets see if I can actually keep my act together this month...
