[One of Sho's Pokemon appears to have decided that this was just too funny to miss, as the Pokegear clicks on to show the teenager on the ground looking at the Growlithe, Vulpix, and Riolu that he'd ordered with an expression of mingled bafflement, annoyance, and mild panic. Meanwhile the "Mew" he'd caught while during the Glitches had shown what it really was: an Absol. (This did explain why it'd been pissed every time he talked about his cats...)

[Dogs. How did he end up with four dogs? He hates dogs.

[Not that the baby pokemon seem to notice, bumbling around like the infants they are and playing with whichever of the older 'mon are willing to put up with them. The little Growlithe in particular is adopting the characteristics of the felines Sho mostly has and is piping up with insistence that HE is a kitty too. His three new Eevee are also playing with the puppies, and it's pretty obvious that Sho isn't getting rid of the dogs without a fight from the others.]

Factoring numerals. [Sho mumbles into the palm of his black hand, trying to figure out how he's going to spin this so that nobody figures out he made a mistake. Four times.]

Jack plops himself down, his lap quickly becoming a highly sought-after defensive spot. Patch completely cheats by going up and over his back and shoulder.]

[Look. Look at the Vulpix trying to chew on his hand when he scritches its tummy. Isn't that the cutest thing ever? How could Sho be so heartless?]

[Six wings? Sounds fancy, but it also sounds very Sho somehow, even if he's not sure exactly what that might mean.

Instead of continuing, he pokes at the Riolu where it wrestles with one of the new Eevees.]

Where'd you get these guys, anyway? If you didn't want dogs.

[Sho just shook his head while the pups played, annoyance turning into resignation. His life, man. His life.]

No clue how this happened, really.

[Nope. Couldn't admit he made mistakes. Four times.]

[Jack picks up the Vulpix, helpfully holding it out at arms length to dangle cutely in Sho's direction and give him quite literal puppy-dog eyes.]
