[The video is a little shaky for a moment, then settles down. There is a small pile of clothing in the middle of the street on top of the burnt remnants of the bed that Belphe's Snorlax busted, safely away from everything else, and encircled by five out of Sho's six pokemon. Sho, himself, is also visible with his black hand counting out beats before the Flareon gets pointed at.]

[He gleefully sets the pile of clothing on fire, which leads to the rest of the team; two Eevees, a Liepard in a black hat, a pissy looking Luxray, and the Flareon hopping back into position, beginning a backwards and forwards moving circle dance around the cheerfully burning clothing.]

[Sho is cackling like the madman that he really is and calling the count of the dance. The sharp of eye may have noticed, before the clothing went up, that it was all very distressingly boring, female clothing.]

[She'd heard the chatter regarding a fire and terrible taste over her gear for the last span of time, but largely ignored it due to work. It's not until she hears Sho mention her by name to someone else that she finally takes enough interest to investigate]

[Her work at the pokemon center forgotten, she practically blitzes outside, flat-out running across the way back to the inn at the site of the burning clothes and the spectacle the pokemon are putting on]

[This face? This is NOT A GUILT FACE. This is a does-not-see-why-he-should-feel-guilty-face.]

[Those Pokemon? THEY have guilt faces.]

[As well they should. It's a rare moment to see Belphe well-and-truly pissed, but congratulations, Sho and company, you've managed it nicely.]

[Because, seriously. He has bought you an entire wardrobe of awesome clothing!]

[Not that she can tell. From her standpoint it looks very much like he went through her luggage, grabbed up all of her clothes, and threw them on a fire. A fact that's only making her even more furious the longer she lets it sink in.

Her teeth grit as her head bows, bangs curtaining her eyes dangerously]

[He has a faintly baffled expression that would fit better on a dog than on, well. Sho. That okay, you're upset. I get that. You're...upset at me. Why? What did I do? expression.]

[Had she possessed her proper powers, it would have been the last time Sho would ever find himself baffled. In fact, she seems so fargone in her rage that she's forgotten she doesn't currently possess them.]

Kill you Kill You KILL YOU....!!!

[she snarls, fists clenching and eyes blazing as she lifts her head to glare daggers at the mathemetician. For one brief moment, the demon that she truly is beneath the reticent, responsible girl is visible and ugly. This would be the part where her female form disappeared, leaving only deathly-sharp steel in its wake. Following that, would be the part that the stake, guided at a bullet's speed, would stab into the young man's thin chest, piercing through his heart with visceral pleasure.

...it would be, but this is Johto. And she is no better than a human here.

...a fact she quickly is reminded of as, rather than surrounding herself in a sheath of twitching muscle and hot, pumping blood, she ineffectually headbutts him instead...]

[Well. Had she possessed her powers, he would have his as well. Which would have led to him being elsewhere, still confused, instead of staggering back a step in bafflement more than because he had to.]

[Something...okay. Uh. ...Yeah, he got nothin'.]

[She just...stays there a minute, forehead pressed firmly against his chest as she lets it sink in exactly what just happened. And then, drawing herself up straight, she brushes past him into the inn without so much as a second glance.

She's had enough of this.]

[blinks and watches her go, totally baffled.]

[And THAT is why he should have had an escape route.

Jack's just glad she didn't notice him. He doesn't have anything to do with the light show, but somehow he doesn't think that would have mattered. Guilt by association and all that.]

[Even JACK knows enough about girls to know that burning their clothes is probably a bad idea.]

I don't think she appreciated your show as much as you did.

[Now, granted, Jack has done many things in the name of 'boring' but... usually they're things that can be fixed. Or at least he has an escape plan.]
