[After the somewhat disastrous attempt at talking Belphe into clothing that wouldn't reflect ill on his ability to get people dressed well they'd settled into something of a cold-war regarding it. She'd wear what he brought home every now and then, he kept trying to get her to throw out the ugly shit because somewhere in his brain he'd decided it had bad stats.]
[Her refusal to stop wearing it, though, was making the already unbalanced teen even more unbalanced. Which was part of why he was pacing around the entire room even while the PokeGear was on, talking at it without sitting down and therefore poking in and out of the screen.]
How do you get someone to pay better attention to her clothing?
[It's a grumpy question and then he pops into full view for a moment, holding up one of Belphe's perfectly practical and utterly fashion-less shirts up.]
No style here, right? It's utterly without affine transformations or excellence! So zetta useless.
[He tosses it over his shoulder and starts pacing again even as an Eevee pokes up to stare into the PokeGear.]

If she's willing to wear that, I highly doubt there's much even I can do for her.

[He bounced back into the frame in order to evaluate her clothing with a jaded yellowish eye.]
What would you try?

[She'll be wearing her cheerleading outfit that she was sent here with, tiara included.]
It depends, really. Do you happen to have a picture of this girl? I might be able to help her, so long as I have an idea on what I'm working with.

[When he turned it around, though? Despite the fact that he did the whole thing in a few moments using nothing but slightly-chewed-on crayons, it was a pretty damn good picture of Belphe in the uniform she'd first shown up in. The colours might not have been quite right, but the proportions were perfect.]

An impressive drawing, although I wouldn't recommend keeping me waiting again, darling. Now...
[Her purple eyes scanned over the drawing, as she wondered what to do with this.]
Well, she's not hopeless. There's a bit of fashion hidden there. It's raw, sure, but I should be able to whip up something.

That's a uniform.
[He said it with a sigh.]
No personal style at all. Had to argue her into wearing trousers.

[What in the fuck...]
You know what? I don't care. What does she wear on a normal basis. And don't draw it this time, just tell me.

Bland. Function, no fashion. Shirts and trousers, boring colours, boring cuts, no frills or fancy shit.

Well, I suppose I could work on something. Give me a few days, and I should have some outfit ideas lined up for her.

[it's tentative approval. Sho style.]

...right. I'll get to work then. Ciao, darling.
[And click goes the feed.]
