There is a truth about cats, cat-people, and even people who are only related to cats in a distant manner: where they are, belongs to them for the duration of the time that they are there. It's not something that needs to be declared, it's simply a fact.
Minamimoto Sho is, in several ways, a cat person. For instance, his preferred pet is a cat. Another example: his biological father is half Katzu, making Sho one-quarter cat. Minamimoto is also indolent, like many people think of cats, smarter than he looks - and he looks plenty smart indeed - and just a bit on the cruel side.
So it shouldn't be a surprise, really, that he can make himself comfortable anywhere, any time, with virtually no settling in period.
It may, however, be a surprise for Gabriel to come home to see fashionable boots on his coffee table, attached to lovely long legs in tailored jeans ripped just so, up to a torso sheathed in nothing but a gorgeous coat which frames a necklace seated directly on skin the color of darkly brewed tea with thick cream added to it. It's almost definitely a surprise to see the starless-night-black of hands (at least, Sho was surprised when emotion coated both hands and a large part of his chest in black, he'd just gotten used to the black he had all the time!) absently using Gabriel's remote to channel surf. Not that Gabriel hadn't seen tattoos before, but...had he ever seen one that went under the fingernails?
Minamimoto Sho, for his part, ignored the sounds of someone coming in and simply waited as he idly flicked through the channels. This, he thought, was going to be...something. Might be fun. Might just be a chore to be handled.
