[Most things in life that move at the speed of humanity are very frustrating for Sho. He's used to moving faster, thinking faster, and generally living a lot faster than anyone around himself. He still thinks faster, but here he has to slow down both for his own sadly human body and because his Pokemon just can't go as long as he can.]

[Especially the new ones, who are pretty much still babies. ≁, ⊶, ⟑, ⟟, ⦕, and א‎₀ (also known as Not Tilde, Original Of, And With Dot, Up Tack With Circle Above, Double Left Arc Greater Than Bracket, and Aleph Null because Sho is great with names. Really.) have a combined nine levels between them, with four of those belonging to Aleph Null.]

[So he borrowed Zodiac from Bell to get himself back down to where the babies can actually train without being KO'ed constantly - and to learn how to work with them. He's never dealt with a Skitty, Glameow, or Sneasel before and hadn't gotten much work in with his Plusle. Not to mention that trying to get his last Shinx to actually work instead of putting himself back in his ball was a pain. He's trying not to be frustrated with how long it's taking them to learn but, as mentioned, Sho has never really been a big one as far as 'patience' goes.]

[At some point Aleph Null managed to get the PokeGear on, because according to the twins that's what you're supposed to do, but since he's having to fight as well he had to leave it hooked to Sho's belt.]

[Meaning at the video is about as good quality as the first one Sho ever posted to the network, wobbling around wildly as Sho jumps and gestures to encourage his team.]

[Belial leans into the touch with an inhuman purr that undermines her disguise]

I took out all of Morty's gym by myself. [she declares, rolling over to fetch up Belphe's jacket from where it sits on the bedside table to proudly show off the four badges pinned along the lapel]

[Sho manages to keep his hand from freezing, petting her for a moment longer while he stares at the badges.]

I am not surprised.

[He says far too calmly before standing up, taking two steps, and entering stage one of the worst freak-out he's had since he showed up in this world for the first time.]

[The exhausted babies all wake up and dive behind Belial with a collection of panicked noises.]

[Belphe is not sure what had happened, exactly...one minute everything was fairly tranquil as she mentally formed a shopping list, the next minute Sho is screaming, things are flying, and pokemon are scattering in terror]

Sho?

[Yeah no good. She can't even hear herself talk over the squall he's making]

Sho...!! What's the matter now?

[There are some words that come out more-or-less clearly amongst the torrent of flying objects, maths, and incoherent screaming. Things like "lost" and "team" and "badge"]

That can't be helped. [she tries to state reasonably into the roaring cyclone that is Sho, presently.] It isn't as if you can't get them back...

[Taboo, wondering what all the noise is about, has ignored the others taking cover and hops up onto the bed to see wtf Tall, Dark, and Loud is going on about now]

[RZF, after a moment of deep thought, decides that not even Taboo deserves to be in the line of fire and goes back to her Purrloin roots by reaching out from under the bed and dragging the little pain in the ass down with everyone else.]

Idiot.

[Sho's eyes have gone from 'yellow' to 'feverish as hell with all kinds of veins popping up' as he rants, items from his bag being slammed around the room at high velocity. He's not trying to hit anyone, but he's certainly reached the point where he's not deliberately aiming away from them.]

[For not trying to hit anyone he's doing a good job of pegging stuff under the bed now and again to the tune of startled noises and scrabbling feet. And Belphe? She's attempting to cross the room with an arm protectively over her face to shield her from whatever is flung in her direction.

The door to the room is opened]

Get out. Now.

[Her command is not directed at Sho, but at the pokemon under the bed]

[The 'mon scrabble out the door, RZF dangling Taboo like he was a kitten (she feels that he wouldn't be bright enough to run with the rest of them if she didn't). Once outside she stares at Belial, hoping that the Zoroak will think of something to distract the babies with. She'd say so, but. Taboo. Belphe's special Eevee.]

Wasted time!

[The ex-Reaper wails, another Potion shattering against the wall]

Pulled out of here and lost almost everything!

[Almost. Not Nor, Nand, Z Notation Spot, or (most importantly) Riemannian Zeta-Function. Not Belphe, and because not Belphe not the others. But most of his 'mon, his badge, the time!]

[As the frightened herd of pokemon scatter from the room, Belphe unholster's Beelze's pokeball from her belt as an afterthought and rolls it out after them. As the door is hurriedly shut after them, the ball pops open, releasing the hulking Snorlax who blinks sleepily, yawns, and abruptly stretches out on her side, making herself an effective blockade for the door as she resumes her nap.

Belial, for her part, looks somewhere between alarmed and puzzled.]

What's his problem?

[RZF spits Taboo out once Beelze is securely in front of the door and huffs a sigh]

Sho, [she remembers when he was still staggering around like a complete moron and falling in the river. Daddy is not what she calls him.] is obsessed with being the best of the best. It was bad enough that he lost his badge and most of his team, seeing how far ahead all of you got was just too much. He's not sane.

[belphe]

"So he can just challenge Falkner again." Belial said, giving Taboo a nudge with her foot as the little silver eevee gave an indignant snort, sitting back on his haunches in annoyance. "It's not the end of the world or anything..."

From inside the room, it sounded as if things were still being thrown, and beneath Sho's yelling was Belphe's reasonable alto sounding as if it was doing it's best to be soothing.

"Maybe Beelze should sit on him for awhile." she remarked.

[If looks could knock out, Taboo would be back in his pokeball from the hall.] Oh, I know. When he wears himself out he'll realise that, too. Beelze probably should sit on him. It could only give Bell backup. [Alas, Belphe still didn't get her real name.]

It's not in his Nature to be laid back about setbacks. I wish it was, but honestly I've been expecting this since he got back.

[She fixed eyes rather remarkably like her Trainer's on the door and sighed as she heard Sho's voice rise and fall as Belphe tried to calm him down. The cycle was that she'd start getting through, then one of her comments would cause something to fire in his brain, and then Sho would start to spaz again.]

[In the room, it's much like RZF has claimed it to be. Everything...everything is in absolute disarra.]

Sho, this is not-- [Belphe dodges just in time to avoid his half-full knapsack being flung in the general direction of her face] --constructive. You are wasting your energy on nothing except setting yourself back even further.

[in the time it was going to take them to clean up after this tantrum, they could have been finished with dinner and resting up for tomorrow]

[He roars at a level that is starting to quiet down, if only because he's getting to the screaming-himself-raw point of the evening.]

[In this world she may no longer be the sin of Sloth, but even she can sense that he's begun to wind down. How long it might take for him to settle himself fully, she doesn't know...and frankly is not keen on waiting out.

She approaches him slowly]

Exactly. Everything could be taken again, and there's nothing that you, me, or anyone can do to stop it. Which is all the more reason it's useless to get angry about it.

[He roared it, wounding his throat even more]

[And yet he hadn't made any move to stop her. Good.

She may have been much smaller than he was, but with his fatigue on her side, as well as being well-trained in the precise angles at which to strike, Belphe felt that this was a battle she could quickly put an end to.]

I understand your frustration. [she said calmly...maybe a bit too softly to be reassuring.] Though, as I said, getting worked up...

[as the last two words were spoken, she moved quickly....even for a human as she aimed to knock Sho over backward and hogtie him with his own sheets]

[Sho grabbed her instinctively as she shoved him, not wanting to get headbutted in the stomach again. He really, really didn't care for pain.]

[The shrieking, however, stopped; replaced by a baffled; what just happened combined with harsh breathing.]
